What is the difference between a co-publishing deal, a publishing administration deal, and a single song deal?

A co-publishing deal involves shared ownership of song copyrights between songwriters and the publisher, facilitating joint efforts in promoting and exploiting songs. In contrast a publishing administration deal allows songwriters to retain full ownership of their songs while granting the publisher the right to manage administrative tasks such as registration, royalty collection, and licensing. Lastly, a single song deal focuses on the exploitation of a specific song, where the songwriter maintains copyright ownership but grants specific rights to the publisher for a defined period or purpose.

Do you accept unsolicited submissions?
